Course Description: This is a classroom study of, but not limited to the following:. It is a study of professional ethics,
grooming, personality development, disinfection and infection control. Cosmetology law, OSHA standard, anatomy, chemistry,
hair, nails & its disorders. Bacteriology, hair, skin, scalp and its disorders are also studied.
The Theory, Concept, Application, and History of Hair Coloring, Haircutting Techniques, Safety, Product Knowledge,
Chemistry, Manicuring, Chemical Restructuring, Nails, and Disorders of the Nail, Anatomy of the Hand and Arm, Cosmetics,
Superfluous Hair Removal, and practices of good grooming and hygiene.
Purpose of the Course: This course covers more comprehensive concepts in Cosmetology. Topics include Safety, Product
Knowledge, Chemistry, Manicuring, Chemical Restructuring and Hair Coloring. Upon completion, students should be able to
safely and competently apply these concepts in a salon setting. This course examines the achievement level of the student in
all classes taught as well as personality development and personable skills

BARBERING
Course Description: This is a classroom study of, but not limited to the following:. It is a study of professional ethics,

NAIL TECHNICIAN
Course Description: This course covers techniques of Nail Technology, hand and arm massage, and recognition of nail
diseases and disorders. Topics include OSHA/safety, sanitation, bacteriology, product knowledge, salesmanship,
manicures, artificial application, pedicures, massage and other related topics.
Purpose of the Course: This course examines the safety and competency of nail care, including manicures, pedicures,
massage, decorating and artificial application in a salon setting.
Number of Hours: 150 $1690.00
BRAID-WEAVE TECHNICIAN
Course Description: This course covers techniques of the hair and scalp by braiding and designing natural and or
incorporating artificial hair with the recognition of skin and scalp care, diseases and disorders. Topics include OSHA/safety,
sanitation, bacteriology, shampooing, product knowledge, salesmanship, grooming habits and other related topics.
Purpose of the Course: This course examines the competency and safety of hair braiding, including hair weaving methods, hair
locking, Cutting, removal & decorating of natural and artificial hair in a salon setting.
Number of Hours: 170 $1660.00

Course Description: This course covers techniques of the removal of unwanted or superfluous hair with the recognition of skin
and scalp care, diseases and disorders. Topics include OSHA/safety, sanitation, bacteriology, product knowledge,
salesmanship, good grooming habits and other related topics.
Purpose of the Course: This course examines the competency and safety of hair removal through various procedures and
techniques suitable to the clients needs including skin analysis and methods such as electrolysis, epilating, depilatories,
shaving, tweezing, waxing, skin care treatments, client consultation, sterilization and safety precautions in a salon setting.
Number of Hours: 115 $1490.00
Esthetics Course (newly added) This course is designed for those who would like to specialize in skincare and makeup &
or massages. This is a certificate course which will lead to licensure in the near future. purpose of the Course: This course
examines the competency and safety of massaging, make-up, facials & hair removal through various procedures and techniques
suitable to the clients needs including skin analysis and methods such as electrolysis, epilating, depilatories, shaving, tweezing,
waxing, skin care treatments, Makeup and massaging along with client consultation, sterilization and safety precautions in a
salon/spa setting.
